Michael Hillman started his path to aviation at 13, taking a ride in a Cessna Cardinal with his Dad, a private pilot.  He went on to achieve an Airline Transport rating, instructor rating, FAA Part 135 Check Airman and became an aircraft owner.  Mike’s business experience centers around the Insurance and Risk Management Industry and Aviation.  In 1995, Mike graduated from Kent State University and partnered with Bowers Insurance Agency in 1997.  In 2010, he sold his interest in the agency and took the position of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Aviation Officer at the Donald Pipino Co LTD. 

Mike has provided insurance and risk management for private and public corporations in and out of the aviation industry.  Simultaneously, he served as a Director of Flight Operations for a FAA Part 135 charter operator, as well as Chief Aviation Officer for multiple corporate flight departments.

Mike has owned large and small aircraft, a flight school, a charter aircraft, and now enjoys the next entry to the aviation industry, as an FBO owner.

Douglas McConnell

In addition to being a founder and partner in JETS FBO Network, Douglas serves as the president of our partner company MRK Aviation.  As the President of MRK Aviation, Inc. Douglas is both diligent in his work and committed to his profession. His passion for aviation started as a child of a flight instructor, Helen McConnell. He has been in aviation since 1974 and at MRK since 2002. MRK has a full service FBO and provides airport management at Lorain County Regional Airport in Elyria, Ohio as well as snow removal and cargo operations at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Additionally, Doug provides management to LLC Phastar and owns Jet Fuel Strategies and Johnwin.
